GENE SIMMONS (AND HIS TONGUE) ARE VISITING THE HOME LAND!
GENE SIMMONS has returned home to Israel. The KISS bassist is taping segments in Jerusalem this week for his A&E reality series, "Gene Simmons Family Jewels," and according to his official website, he has not visited his birthplace since he moved to America more than 50 years ago. He was born CHAIM WITZ (HY-um vitz) and grew up dirt poor in northern Israel and still considers that area his real home.

A SUPER RARE NIRVANA CD WILL BE RELEASED FOR RECORD STORE DAY!
A super-rare NIRVANA EP will be re-released on April 16th, which is Record Store Day in the UK. "Hormoaning" was a special 6-track CD that was only available in Australia back in 1992. It includes cover versions of DEVO's "Turnaround," two songs by THE VASELINES and one by THE WIPERS along with Nirvana's "Aneurysm" and "Even In His Youth." Only 6,000-copies will be pressed up and sold at independent record stores in England.

EDDIE VEDDER AND HIS UKELELE ARE PLANNING A SOLO ALBUM…THOUGHTS?
PEARL JAM frontman EDDIE VEDDER will release a solo album in May. It's called "Ukulele Songs" and that's exactly what it is. Eddie sings original tunes and covers while playing the ukulele. The first single, "Longing To Belong," is available now as a download. The CD will be out on May 31st. The same day, look for a DVD called "Water On The Road." It was filmed at Eddie's two August 2008 concerts at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C
SAMMY HAGAR WAS ABDUCTED BY ALIENS???
Well, this explains everything. Former VAN HALEN frontman SAMMY HAGAR claims he was abducted by aliens. He was interviewed by MTV yesterday about his new book, "Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock," and revealed that he was contacted by aliens from outer space that tapped into his mind through a wireless connection. Sammy said it was either a download or an upload from his brain.

TOMMY LEE is ready to hit the road this summer with MOTLEY CRUE, but he's also working on a new TV project. The Hollywood Reporter says the drummer is developing a show for the Syfy channel called, "Culture Shock With Tommy Lee."
